Time Limit Sub-Group
Where: This sign is placed below a regulatory road sign on any public road. It acts as an additional instruction to the main sign above it.
Purpose: The Time Limit Sub-Group sign indicates that the rules of the main sign only apply during the specific times, days, or conditions shown on the sub-sign. For example, a No Parking sign with a Time Limit Sub-Group may mean No Parking from 07:00 to 17:00, but outside those hours parking is allowed.
Action Required by Driver: Read and follow the times or conditions displayed. The rule shown on the main sign is not always in effect — it depends on what is written on the time limit board.
- Check the start and end times — confirm exactly when the restriction begins and ends.
- Check the days of the week — some sub-signs only apply on specific days, if indicated.
- Check for special conditions — for example, "School Days Only" changes when the rule is active.
- Failing to observe the time limit may result in a fine, even if the road appears clear.
